Kandy Hammond BSN MBA/HCM has served as the Practice Manager and Clinical Director of Midwest Vein and Laser for more than 31 years. She earned her MBA with a specialty in Healthcare Management in 2005 and was instrumental in helping launch the practice in 1994 alongside Dr. Ron Bush. Throughout her career, Kandy has witnessed—and actively contributed to—major advancements in vein care and aesthetic medicine.
As laser technology emerged, Kandy participated in numerous FDA clinical trials, gaining firsthand experience during a pivotal period of innovation. She is widely regarded as an expert in the treatment of spider veins and has played a key role in expanding the practice into a comprehensive aesthetic center. Under her clinical leadership, the practice now offers advanced facial rejuvenation treatments, including laser and light-based therapies, dermal fillers, Botox, and other minimally invasive aesthetic procedures.
Kandy is a sought-after speaker at national conferences and, through her consulting business, has trained hundreds of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and ancillary staff. Her work focuses on improving clinical outcomes, enhancing patient experience, and helping practices operate more efficiently and successfully.
