To begin her journey, Dr. Vargas received her medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and completed her post-graduate training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery from the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio—where she also completed a Research Fellowship in Cardiac and Vascular Surgery.
